CONTRIBUTE TO SIMERPU · PRELAUNCH

Help raise the standard.

Bring a useful question, a documented experience, or a source worth examining. The moderated contribution intake is being prepared; submissions are not open yet.

EDITORIAL INTAKE · NOT YET OPEN

Prepare the idea. Keep the evidence.

Use this guide to prepare a useful contribution while intake is being prepared. Submissions will enter editorial review; submission will not mean automatic publication, endorsement, or a podcast appearance.

SIX WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

Different contributions need different context.

ORIGINAL WRITING

Submit an Article

Bring an original explanation, analysis, or professional response that helps readers understand a question more clearly.

Prepare: a working title, short summary, intended audience, original draft, source references, authorship and publication permission, and relevant commercial relationships.

This is for SIMERPU editorial consideration. It is not a submission to The CPA Journal or another publisher.

SOURCE & CLAIM

Suggest an Article Review

Point us to a relevant article or claim that deserves a careful reading, including work from The CPA Journal and other publications.

Prepare: the original title, author, publisher, publication date, source link, the claim or question to examine, and why it matters.

Share a source link, not a copied full article. SIMERPU will write original summaries and commentary.

IMPLEMENTATION & EXPERIENCE

Share an Employer Experience

Explain what happened during onboarding, payroll, communication, benefit access, support, or administration.

Prepare: your role, the time period, the organization’s publication permission or anonymity needs, what went well, what did not, lessons learned, and the evidence available.

Do not include employee medical information, payroll records, or other sensitive personal data.

VIRTUAL CARE & EVIDENCE

Suggest a Platform or Submit Evidence

Help identify a platform to examine, or provide context and source references for a provider claim or reported result.

Prepare: the platform name, services and covered population, dated claim sources, reporting period, metric definitions, numerator and denominator where relevant, evidence origin, and business relationships.

Do not make confidential attachments public. Evidence handling must be arranged through the moderated intake process.

A QUESTION WORTH ASKING

Suggest a Podcast Topic

Bring a question that would benefit from direct conversation and a perspective the industry needs to hear.

Prepare: the topic, why it matters, key questions, suggested perspectives or guests, useful sources, and any relevant commercial interest.

A suggestion is not a scheduled episode. Topic and guest selection are editorial decisions.

EXPERIENCE & PERSPECTIVE

Apply to Be a Guest

Explain the experience or perspective you can contribute to a thoughtful, evidence-based conversation.

Prepare: a short biography, role and organization, your proposed subject, examples or sources you can discuss, contact permission, and relevant commercial relationships.

Only approved biographies and confirmed appearances will be published. An application is not a promise of an appearance.

PERMISSION, SOURCES & RELATIONSHIPS

Give readers the context they deserve.

Permission

Provide contact permission and confirm who authored the material. Obtain permission for named publication and respect any anonymity requirements.

Source references

Link to original material and identify who supplied an account or a result. Keep observed facts, interpretation, and personal experience distinct.

Commercial relationships

Disclose relevant employment, ownership, referral, compensation, sponsorship, or other commercial relationships so the reader can assess the context.

PROTECT SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Tell the story without exposing the people.

Do not submit employee medical information, payroll records, account credentials, or other sensitive personal data through public forms. Anonymize appropriately and obtain permission before naming an employer or individual. Confidential evidence must not become a public attachment.

THE MODERATED PROCESS · PLANNED

Editorial consideration, not automatic publication.

01

Receive

A contribution enters the appropriate editorial queue once intake opens.

02

Review

The editorial team examines relevance, permissions, source context, and disclosed relationships.

03

Clarify

Additional context or factual corrections may be requested. Unsupported conclusions are not treated as established facts.

04

Publish, if approved

Only approved material is published, with its content type, source credit, limitations, and relevant disclosures.

Corrections should be specific.

For a factual correction or provider response, identify the page, the statement at issue, the proposed correction, and the supporting dated source. The correction and response process will be available when editorial intake opens.
