VIRTUAL CARE REVIEWS · SIMERPU

What was promised—and what actually happened?

We examine virtual care access, utilization, member experience, reporting, and the evidence behind the claims. No platform reviews are published yet.

REVIEWS IN PREPARATION

Evidence before a conclusion.

No platform reviews are published yet. Our framework examines access, experience, reporting, and the evidence behind a provider’s claims. Unsupported conclusions will be labeled “Insufficient evidence.”

PLATFORM REVIEW LIBRARY

Published reviews, with their sources.

Approved reviews will identify the platform, reviewer, review date, evidence available, relevant relationships, and limitations. Company reviews are separate from individual member profiles.

No published platform reviews match. The review library is being prepared.

WHAT WE WILL EXAMINE

Follow the experience beyond the sales claim.

Services & covered population

Which services are included, who can use them, whether dependents are included, and what the provider actually claims in dated sources.

Access & continuity

Appointment access, completed care, follow-up, continuity, and unanswered questions about the member’s ability to use the service.

Enrollment & clinical use

Separate enrollment and activation from actual clinical utilization. Explain how each measure is defined and which population it covers.

Support & administration

Member support, employer administration, onboarding responsibilities, reporting access, and the practical work required to operate the benefit.

Reporting & outcomes

What was reported, over which period, with which definitions and supporting evidence. Utilization alone does not establish quality, clinical benefit, or ROI.

Strengths, limits & responses

What the evidence supports, what it does not, unanswered questions, a provider response when supplied, and relevant business relationships.

READING UTILIZATION CLAIMS

A registration is not a completed encounter.

Ask for the reporting period, population, numerator, denominator, and definition behind every metric. Different measures answer different questions.

Enrollment & activation

Enrollment & activation

Who is covered, who registered, and who activated an account? Those are not automatically the same populations.

Logins & unique patients

Logins & unique patients

A login measures account activity. Ask separately how many unique people actually received clinical care.

Completed encounters & repeat visits

Completed encounters & repeat visits

Count completed clinical encounters separately from unique patients. Repeat visits should not be presented as additional unique users.

Employees & dependents

Employees & dependents

An employee-only denominator is not comparable to a population that includes dependents without explaining the difference.

COMPARISON EXPERIENCE · PLANNED

Compare only what is comparable.

A useful side-by-side comparison needs compatible definitions, reporting periods, services, and covered populations. We will not treat different denominators or different kinds of use as equivalent. No platform comparison is published yet.

What a fair comparison needs

Matched definitions and populations · Visible source dates and evidence origin · Clear reporting periods · Strengths and limitations · Unanswered questions, not unsupported winners.

Provider-reported, employer-reported, member-reported, and checked-against-records evidence will be labeled separately.

PROVIDERS, EMPLOYERS & CONTRIBUTORS

Bring the claim. Bring the context.

Prepare a platform suggestion, source evidence, employer experience, provider response, or factual correction. Intake will be moderated; it is being prepared and is not open yet. Do not submit sensitive medical or payroll information through public forms.

Ask what the evidence can actually show.
